Archival & Conservation Films from PSG Group Ltd. has some of the largest polyester stocks in Europe. In addition to our other services, we supply standard sleeves & pockets for use in conservation of documents, stamps, posters, maps, postcards, certificates, photos, artwork, scrapbooks, currency or any type of collectible to name a few.

Polymex® sleeves can be sealed along one or two sides . A Polymex® sleeve can have a seal along one long edge, or along one short edge. An "L-seal" (or "L-weld" or "L-sleeve") has two seals (seals on 2 adjacent sides). Two long sides can be sealed, forming a "sleeve". The two short sides remain open(s).

Polymex® pockets have a "U-seal" which has seals on three sides, and is the most common style

Conservators and archivists insist on the use of a Polymex® archival & conservation polyester that is glass clear and inert, that does not yellow, age or crack, even with constant handling. Polymex® archival range of films are exceptionally strong and crystal clear films that are resistant to moisture, pollutants, oils, and acids. It contains no volatile chemicals which will migrate to the surface of the paper and cause damage. With a life expectancy of hundreds of years, Polymex® archival range of films will outlast most other plastics.
